Managing Director
Andrew is a pioneer in the Identity Security industry. Since the early 2000’s, he has led many of the first identity security implementations within South Africa’s banking and telecommunications sectors and Europe.
Andrew joined Altron in 2020 and is now the Managing Director of Altron Security. He champions the Altron Security purpose of ‘Trust, through Identity,’ ensuring the delivery of innovative identity security solutions that build trust between organizations and their customers.
Throughout his career, Andrew has gained extensive experience across various business areas, including consulting services, project management, customer success, regulatory compliance, advisory, and sales.
Belinda Blignaut
Executive – Sales
Belinda is a seasoned sales leader with more than 20 years of experience in leading diverse teams, cultivating client relationships across industries, both on local and international fronts, with a focus on meeting company goals.
Belinda joined Altron in 2021 via the acquisition of LAWtrust.
Belinda is skilled in developing and implementing strategic sales strategies, building and maintaining key customer relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams. Adept at identifying new business opportunities, improving sales team performance, and delivering outstanding results in customer satisfaction and retention.
Grant Long
Practice Lead – Data and Cryptography
Grant serves as the Practice Lead for Data and Cryptography, bringing over 25 years of comprehensive experience within the Information Technology sector. Throughout his career, he has held pivotal roles spanning Systems Design, Research and Development Management, and Product Management, consistently demonstrating a deep understanding of emerging technologies and their practical application in dynamic business environments.
Grant is driven by a passion for innovation, leveraging his technical acumen to address evolving market demands and deliver impactful solutions tailored to client challenges. He leads a highly skilled team dedicated to advancing capabilities in data and cryptographic technologies, while actively engaging with executive leadership to ensure strategic alignment between technology initiatives and overarching business objectives.
His leadership is marked by a commitment to excellence, strategic foresight, and a collaborative approach that fosters innovation and drives measurable outcomes.

Senior Specialist – Security Solutions
Pierre is a seasoned Senior Specialist Security Solutions at Altron Security, where he plays a pivotal role in protecting clients through best-of-breed technologies and services. With over a decade of experience in cybersecurity, endpoint management, and IT infrastructure, Petrus Johannes Van De Venter brings deep technical expertise and a passion for securing digital environments and has continued to elevate his impact, combining technical acumen with strategic insight to deliver robust security solutions.
Melanie Georgeson
Practice Lead – Signing
Melanie is the Practice Lead for Altron Security’s Signing Practice. With a master’s degree in Computer & Electronic Engineering, she has 4 years of technical solutions consulting experience in secure signing and digital trust services, and 3 years in enterprise field services and workforce management software.
Her role at Altron Security involves overseeing the product roadmap and strategic direction for signing solutions, including their proprietary offerings and the SigningHub managed service. She leads the team responsible for technical consultation, solution automation, and integration, ensuring alignment across operational, development, and associated teams to achieve financial targets, product value, operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Melanie believes in technology’s power to transform lives and businesses, advocating for solutions that offer flexibility, cost savings, efficiency improvements, and compliance. She finds secure signing and workflow solutions particularly fascinating due to their broad applicability and potential for innovation.
Sivakumar Ramakrishnan
Head: Software Services
Sivakumar is a seasoned IT professional with over 20 years of experience driving technology solutions across South Africa. He has held diverse leadership roles, including Senior Developer, Scrum Master, Technical Lead, Development Manager, and Head of Delivery-where he has consistently balanced business, technical, and people needs to deliver impactful results. A Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, and SAFe Agilist, Sivakumar has led complex, high-stakes projects end-to-end, from inception to delivery.
Lauren Courtenay
Business Development Manager: Certificate Services
Lauren has been at the forefront of the SSL/TLS certificate services industry since 2011. Starting her career in the certificate verification team, she built a deep technical understanding of certificates from the ground up before moving into sales and later stepping into a leadership role. For nearly a decade, Lauren has successfully led a Certificate Services team that has dominated the market with a strong customer-centric approach, providing top-tier support and guidance.
Under her leadership, the team services close to 500 customers who trust them with their mission-critical certificate requirements. Lauren is passionate about guiding organisations through the complexities of an ever-changing certificate environment, ensuring resilience, compliance, and security at every stage.
With looming industry changes—200-day maximum lifespans arriving in March 2026 and 47-day certificates by 2029—her expertise and foresight are needed more than ever. Lauren and her team remain dedicated to helping customers adapt, automate, and succeed in the new era of digital trust.
